Halo 5’s Latest DLC Bundle Costs $25

343 Industries, the makers of Halo 5, are introducing a new microtransaction to the game called the Arena Req Bundle. It costs $25 and it’s set to go on sale in a couple weeks on February 16, 2016. This pricey bundle includes 14 Req packs, which would cost more if purchased separately.

What’s interesting about the bundle is that you won’t receive all 14 items at the same time. Instead, you’ll get it parceled out on a weekly basis at a rate of 2 per week over a period of 7 weeks. It’s clearly a way of keeping players coming back every time new items are released–though the fact that it’s priced at $25 may be a hurdle to some players. The new bundle is similar to the Warzone Req Bundle, which came out in October 2015 and followed a the same release model. The new bundle is set to replace it in the Featured slot, though the older bundle can still be bought if you browse for it manually.

Players can expect to get a selection of armor aesthetics, visors, and skins for their weapons. Unfortunately, there’s no way to tell exactly what you’ll receive, as every bundle is randomized. 343 Industries states that anyone who picks up the bundle will have an increased chance to get Mythic and Legendary items, so if you’re a collector, this may be the best bang for your buck.

Anyone who buys the Arena Req Bundle will receive the Mark V Alpha armor as a guaranteed bonus. The armor draws inspiration from the original suit worn by the Master Chief in the first Halo game.

The bundle can only be purchased once on a single Xbox Live account, so you won’t be able to pick up more than one.
