EA Brazil’s YouTube account posted a video yesterday detailing some of the free content in the upcoming January update for Star Wars Battlefront. Reddit users Exsound and Wccftech translated information from Portuguese in this thread.
It appears the video says the January update will include a new map set on Tatooine, new clothes for Luke and Leia, daily challenges, private matches, along with special community events. The video has since been taken down. Some Reddit users suspect it wasn’t meant to be published yet.
The addition of private matches has been a much-requested feature among Star Wars Battlefront’s user base. The new map has been speculated to be either Jabba’s Palace or Mos Eisley.
December's free update for the game included a new map and game mode. We recently learned that the EA Access service available on Xbox One will now be available to PC players in the form of Origin Access.
Does this update sound enough to keep you playing? If you’ve left the game, would this be enough to get you playing again? Let us know in the comments.
