The Studio Ghibli and Level-5 developed RPG Ni No Kuni will be getting a sequel. Titled Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, the game was just announced at the PlayStation Experience. It is exclusive to the PS4.
The sequel follows the adventures of Evan, a boy king who travels throughout his kingdom besieged by darkness to prove himself worthy of his title. Evan is accompanied by Roland, a visitor from another world, among other party members.
The original Ni No Kuni was a PS3 exclusive title that captured everyone's attention due to its unique art style and the fact that it was developed by famed animation studio Studio Ghibli, largely considered the "Disney of Japan."
The game received plenty of accolades and was well received by the press and gamers alike.
It's just great to know that it'll be seeing a sequel.
