The Health and Stamina Upgrades that you can find in Trek to Yomi are necessary for ensuring you survive your journey through the titular Land of the Dead. There are a total of 33 Upgrades, with 22 of them being for your Stamina and the other 11 being for Health. Collecting all of these Upgrades will not only make you as powerful as you can be but also unlock the “Dedicated Collector” for collecting all of the game’s Upgrades.

In Chapter 5 of Trek to Yomi, Hiroki continues to travel through the Land of the Dead of Yomi, eventually coming face-to-face with a demonic version of his fallen sensei. As you find yourself going deeper and deeper into Yomi, these Upgrades will become more and more important as you face off with more enemies that can cut you down in seconds if you aren’t constantly getting stronger. This guide will show players where to find all of the possible Health and Stamina Upgrades found in Chapter 5 of Trek to Yomi.

All Chapter 5 Health And Stamina Upgrades In Trek To Yomi

There are a total of 6 Upgrades that you can find in the fifth chapter of Trek to Yomi. There are 2 Health Upgrades and 4 Stamina Upgrades that you can find as you continue to descend further into Yomi. Since you will not be able to revisit levels or zones once you go past them, this guide will show you where to find each Upgrade in the order that they appear in the level.

Stamina Upgrade #1

Early on in Chapter 5, you will be introduced to the first environmental puzzle in the game, which will lead you into a temple upon its completion. Inside you will need to face off against the spirit of the first bandit that Hiroki ever killed. Once he is defeated leave the temple and go to the right until you reach the screen pictured below.

Stamina Upgrade #2

The next Upgrade is found at the next environmental puzzle, but you have a bit of a trek before you reach it. You will need to get past the two new enemy types that are introduced in this level, the Spectre and Wraith, before you reach the area that is pictured in the left picture below. Notice the big statue on the right. It is behind it that you will find the Upgrade.

Stamina Upgrade #3

The next major location that you visit is a shifting temple that utilizes shifting walls and doors that you need to navigate. Make your way through the temple until you reach the platform at the top of the staircase pictured below on the left. Go to the left to reach the platform with the third Stamina Upgrade for Chapter 5.

Health Upgrade #1

At the exit of the temple that housed the previous Upgrade, there is a desert area. Progress through the zone until you reach the Shrine that is pictured down below on the left. Take the path on the right of the Shrine to find the Health Upgrade.

Health Upgrade #2

As you make your way through the desert zone, you will come across a boat and a rope that you can cut to fill the area with water. Use the rising water and boat to reach the higher platform and progress until you reach the next Shrine, pictured below. Directly to the right of the Shrine is a role on the wall that leads to the second and last Health Upgrade of the Chapter.

Stamina Upgrade #4

The final Upgrade for Chapter 5 is found just before the boss fight. Make your way to the screen pictured below on the left and then take the path to the left. This is where you will find a Shrine and the Stamina Upgrade.
