While the game is called Trek to Yomi, you don’t actually reach the titular land of the Dead until Chapter 4. This early journey through Yomi sees players coming face to face with several non-human enemies, but the boss at the end of the level takes these otherworldly enemies up a notch as the Aiko, the woman that he loves and failed to save, becomes the boss of the chapter known as Aiko Demon. Not only will you want to take her down, but you will want to know how to do so as effectively as possible so that you can get the “That Woman is a Demon!” achievement, which you unlock by defeating Aiko Demon without taking damage. How To Defeat Chapter 4 Boss Aiko Demon In Trek To Yomi
Battling the Aiko Demon is the first time that you are coming face to face with a giant demonic enemy rather than the regular sword and spear wielders. With Aiko being a demon there are a few magical abilities that the player will need to avoid. Aiko can some beams of light from the sky damage you, each one is preempted by as few shimmers of light that show you where these beams will land. When these attacks come down, you can dodge away from them and use the ranged attacks such as your Bo-Shurikens and Arrows.
As for melee attacks, you can block the light flurries, but doing so continuously will eventually cause you to run out of stamina and lead to you being staggered. Use a combination of dodges and blocks to make sure that you have time to get your stamina back. The other big melee attack is a big, slow, downward swipe that will quickly stagger you. Make sure to dodge this when you see it.
Defeating Aiko will return her to her regular form, allowing you to make your first choice, teasing the one that you will be able to make that will decide your ending in Chapter 6. This decision will start a cutscene that brings Chapter 4 to an end.
