CCP Games has released new footage of its upcoming VR-oriented game EVE Valkyrie, captured directly through a headset. The gameplay trailer shows viewers how things look like from the inside of a starfighter cockpit.
The whole trailer is narrated by Katee Sackhoff, best known for her role in Battlestar Galactica, who voices Lt. Ran Kavik. She leads a squadron of starfighters, which the player is a part of.
The trailer gives players a glimpse of what it's like to partake in a massive space battle populated by colossal starships and starfighters. Fans of EVE Online will note that things definitely look different from the inside of a cockpit.
EVE Valkyrie uses the Unreal Engine 4 and is in development for both the Oculus Rift on PC and Project Morpheus on PS4.
