Turtle Rock Studios' recently-released FPS Evolve is getting an array of new content this month. The update is set to feature four new hunters, a monster called the Behemoth, two new maps, and the Observer Mode, which allows players to spectate others' games.
All of this content is set for release on March 31.
The developer introduced the Behemoth as the game's fourth and latest playable monster, which is free for anyone who pre-ordered the game and received the Monster Expansion Pack. For those without it, the Behemoth costs $15.
In addition to the Behemoth, four new hunters are being added into the mix. They are:
- Torvald – A Cyborg Assault character with a mortar cannon for an arm
- Crow – A Trapper with a pet Batray for tracking Monsters
- Slim – A genetically modified combat Medic
- Sunny – A Support character equipped with a mini-nuke grenade launcher
Any player with the Hunting Pass will gain access to all four characters. Everyone else will have to pay $7.50 for each character, so it's cheaper to buy the hunting pass for $25 and shave off a couple of dollars from the purchase.
As we previously detailed, the two new maps–The Broken HIll Mine and Broken HIll Foundry–will be available to all players for free. These maps will first come to the Xbox One and will be made available to the PC and PS4 a month later, on April 30.
