Carmageddon is reborn as Carmageddon: Reincarnation, in development at Stainless Games. Now officially in public beta, the game is available to testers to unleash all manner of mayhem onto the streets of whatever city the game is supposed to be set in.
Vehicles, designed for the brutal destruction of other vehicles, tear apart the city, terrorize its inhabitants and smash other rival vehicles in the process—it’s good old Carmageddon action, just the way we remember the original.
The game’s public beta is made up of the full game, including career mode, freeplay, multiplayer, achievements, challenges, all cars, levels and arenas. The only problem with it is that the progress you make in the game may get reset due to the nature of the beta. Stainless Games states that it intends to keep the game updated on the regular based on feedback provided to them by the testing community.
The game’s beta is available for the PC only for the time being, but the full game will be released on the PS4, Mac, Linux, and Xbox One once the game is done.
