Capcom may have unwittingly dropped hints that they will rerelease Resident Evil 0, following the HD remaster of the 2002 Gamecube version of the originalResident Evil.
The company shared a promotional image for the Resident Evil Gamecube remake, with a small pic that was confirmed to be a screen for Resident Evil 0.
Resident Evil 0 was also a Gamecube exclusive, and served as a prequel to the original game. You play Rebecca Chambers, prior to her entering the mansion in Raccoon City to find out what happened to her fellow Bravo Team members. Rebecca investigates a cannibalization incident close to Raccoon City, and uncovers Umbrella corporation’s plot and the origins of the T-virus.
Resident Evil 0 is a popular game, but slightly less critically acclaimed compared to its Gamecube sibling. It seems likely, just as other recent Resident Evil games, that Resident Evil 0 will be released on every major home platform save Wii U, so, Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
