Remember unusual gaming peripherals in the early '90s? Those days seem to be coming back again, as the Farming Simulator games are going to get some dedicated devices from Mad Catz, via their brand Saitek.
The Saitek brand has been best known for flight sticks, so they are likely to make similarly highly customized controllers for Giants Software's games. Mad Catz may be striking while the iron is hot, as Farming Simulator 15 is slated to release early 2015 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One alongside PC. Unfortunately, due to the nature of peripheral licensing agreements, it is highly unlikely that these will be cross platform, but they should be compatible with the older games if you're getting them for PC.
Farming Simulator 15 will also introduce logging, so beyond the expected tractor controller, there may be wheel peripherals for trucks and other vehicles. What would you like to see in this upcoming controller? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
