Hot off the news of Mighty No. 9's upcoming cartoon and new donation drive comes a new update that details our hero Beck's standard abilities. The included clips may not be the most exciting of gameplay demonstrations, but if the game is to be a success, getting the basics down is most improtant!
There are a few nifty details to glean from these videos. For instance, Beck has a backward jumping shot that allows him to hit enemies at a downward angle. He can climb ladders much like his blood brother Mega Man, but he can also snatch onto ledges and hoist himself up. And his dash technique can be used to squeeze through narrow spaces, zoom through the air, or even drop straight downward at a rapid speed.
