Slightly Mad Studios has released a new trailer for Project CARS. If there’s any game that has yet to show signs of a downgrade in their reveals so far, this one is it. Note: if you have the internet bandwidth for it, you'll want to switch settings up to full 1440p.
Slightly Mad shared the stats for the trailer, which is showing actual pre-Alpha gameplay. These are the system specs for the PC used:
· Core i7 2600k @ 4.6 GHZ
· 16GB RAM @ 1866 MHZ
· 2x ASUS GTX780 DirectCU II (SLI)
· ASUS Maximus IV
· 2x VelociRaptor (Raid 0)
And these are the settings, all placed at maximum, with no injector used:
· Resolution: 2560 x 1440px
· Texture Filtering: Anisotropic 16x
· Anti-Aliasing: DS2X (Downsampling)
· SMAA Post: Ultra
Project CARS is running in Slightly Mad Studios’ proprietary engine Galileo, which was also used to create Need for Speed SHIFT and SHIFT 2 Unleashed. The game is coming to Oculus Rift, Steam, Wii U, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 on Fall 2014.
