Project Spark’s beta program is now available to Xbox One. We’ll share details for you below.
As a brief reminder, Project Spark is an open sandbox game where you can build up entire games from scratch. The game is being developed for Xbox 360 and Windows as well as Xbox One, and also promises interaction via Smartglass. Developer Team Dakota has also promised cross-platform compatibility.
As it is, of course, undergoing beta requires you sign up to the beta before you can avail of it in Xbox One. Team Dakota has also revealed much earlier that the game is not under NDA, so at this stage players can share as much of what they have learned as they would like.
Project Spark beta is not under NDA, so share your creations to your heart's content! Our fans stream 24/7 at http://t.co/HoamvHbLcx 🙂

The Xbox One version comes with exclusive Performance Capture support. You can record your voice and custom animations with Kinect, so that you can share them on Xbox One and Windows 8. Of course, cloud save allows you to switch between Windows 8 and Xbox One for your creations, as well as adapting the requisite controls from mouse and keyboard to joystick / Kinect.
Project Spark may not be for everyone, but it stands out from the pack as one of the more interesting projects for Xbox One, particularly one that’s not based on an older franchise or a well tread genre. We hope many Xbox One owners avail of the beta and spark the fire of creativity within themselves.
