Creative Assembly is putting together the first campaign expansion pack for Total War: Rome 2. Titled Caesar in Gaul, the DLC will be out on December 12.
As we reported previously today, the content is currently available for pre-order and focuses on Gaul bringing a "more detailed vision" (their words, not ours) of the region and the south coast of Britannia. In the campaign, players can choose from four diverse factions including the Gallic Arverni, the Germanic Suebi, the Belgic Nervii, and of course Rome. Three factions, the Nervii, Boii and Galatians are unlocked for play in the main campaign of Rome 2.
Interestingly, the DLC will include a full fledged multiplayer campaign that's set to offer a "tighter, more focused" experienced than the main Rome 2 campaign, which can be a hassle to play due to its broad scope.
