The battle royale video game genre has become quite popular thanks to a few notable titles such as Fortnite. Out of the blue, Titanfall developers Respawn Entertainment, released the popular title to the genre, Apex Legends. However, unlike some of the other battle royale video game titles gamers could enjoy, Apex Legends forces players to work with a team of players. That will soon change as the video game will soon have a solo mode, but there’s a catch.
As mentioned, Apex Legends is a battle royale title that puts players into a team of three. Luckily there is an intuitive system placed which allows the team to easily communicate without having to rely on microphones. However, as the game continues to receive daily players, there’s been some requests to put in a solo mode into the game. Unfortunately, those requests were not met with the interest from Respawn Entertainment to develop the mode. Luckily for those who were hoping to get a chance to enjoy the game solo will get the chance this coming week.
Respawn Entertainment is adding a solo mode for a limited time which will kick off on August 13, 2019, and will continue until August 27, 2019. That has left some bummed that this mode may not be around for the long haul, but there is certainly a good chance that this mode will be added into the game permanently if the response is positive from the community. For now, it’s just a waiting game to a chance to enjoy the beloved battle royale game mode as a lone wolf.
