Fortbytes are new to Fortnite in season 9. Developers have put these items randomly which will unlock a hidden picture. All these pictures will reveal the secrets of season 9 but don’t get too excited yet as not all of these Fortbytes have been added to the game. Instead, the will be updated weekly so you’re only going to get a random assortment available at any given time. Likewise, these Fortbytes may not all be hidden within the map. Instead you may have to complete a challenge or reach a certain amount of XP. Likewise, the few that may be hidden in the map may require a certain skin to pick the item up.
Below are all of the available Fortbytes at the current moment. Check back later for future updates.

Players will need to gain a total of 175,000 XP
Fortbyte #2
This Fortbyte is actually pretty easy. To find Fortbyte #2 all you need to do is head to Neo Tilted and go to the large clock tower. At the very top of the tower will be the Fortbyte.

Go to the farthest western area of the map using the Skull Trooper emjoi in the area to activate the Fortbyte.

Go to the ice cream parlor called Sofdeez and use the Yay emote when you enter the front door to unlock the Fortbyte.

For Fortbyte #7 you need to head to bottom of the cave which we marked on the map. It’s near The Block but once you land there you need to use the Cuddle Up emote before the Fortbyte to be accessible.

For Fortbyte #8 you need to go inside the largest building in the middle of Junk Junction. On the bottom floor you’ll find the Fortbyte on a mattress.

Go the mark on the map and look for a circling bird. There will be a Fortbyte below on the ground.

Go to the Pressure Plant and follow the lava lake until you reach a tunnel you can enter. Once inside go to the Fortbyte and use the spray Nana Nana near it on the ground.

Head to the western section of the map below Paradise Palms. You’ll need to reach the shack with the dinosaurs. Go behind the shack and destroy the portable bathroom to discover the Fortbyte

Go to the middle of the RV park and pick up the Fortbyte.

Go to the small town marked on the map and you’ll find the Fortbyte inside one of the homes.

To find Fortbyte #17 you must go to the wooden fish near the dried up ponds north of Pressure Plant. The Fortbyte will be inside the fish and will not require any particular skin.

Using the Vega outfit go into the makeshift spaceship building near Polar Peak and you’ll find the Fortbyte inside the cockpit.

This Fortbyte can be found in the center of any of the first three storm circles. Since we can’t mark these on the map, you’ll have to locate the storm circle on your end and jump to the center for the Fortbyte.

Fortbyte #22 will be available within the underpass of Neo Tilted. However, in order to grab the item you need to have Rox Spray equipped and use it on the wall of the underpass.

Go the further point in the north located on the map. It will be near Junk Junction and you’ll actually see a small dirt path leading you to the edge. You’ll find the Fortbyte resting by the edge but in order to pick it up you’ll need to equip the Kyo pet back bling.

Go to the lair inside the mountain that’s above Snobby Shore. You and a friend must dance on each pad to activate the disco ball mechanic and from there the Fortbyte will become available.

Head to the location marked on the map where you’ll find a mountain with cactus plants in a V formation. This is where you’ll find Fortbyte #81. However, there is on catch, you can only get the Fortbyte if its during day time. This means if its night when the match starts you’ll have to wait until daylight before the item will appear.

East of Junk Junction you can find a few small forests. Head to the forest marked on the map above and complete the pressure plates hidden inside for the Fortbyte to show up.
