In this brief video for Aliens: Colonial Marines, Gearbox shows us Hadley's Hope's interior from the concept stage to actually being in the game.
For Aliens fans, this corridor isn't just your typical level but one that brings back memories of Xenomorphs and other ghastly alien monstrosities. While the actual video doesn't really show much, it does state that the objective is to "re-establish communication links with any survivors of the crash," which, we know means you'll be meeting the facehuggers and their ilk soon enough.
If that wasn't exciting enough for you, here's a trailer for the game where Gearbox wants you to fight the fear of being alone. I think that's easier said than done when all your comrades are dead and a Xeno is running after you.
Just in case you missed it, SEGA is also giving players the chance for fans to play as their favorite character in the movies. Sadly, Ripley herself isn't available, but there are the grunts like Sergeant Apone, Private Hudson and Corporal Hicks, etc.
Aliens: Colonial Marines is set for a February 12, 2013 release for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U.
