Like Splash Damage's previously released titles, Dirty Bomb is a multiplayer-focused shooter with an emphasis on competitive multiplayer team-play. They released the first ever trailer of the game today, which you can see below.
Besides the release of the gameplay video, the studio's also announced a "Founder's Club" as a means for players to pre-order the game. The pre-order deal is available in multiple tiers and avails players to a host of goodies including a founder's tag, additional mercenaries, and priority access to the game's closed beta test.
Splash Damage wasn't hesitant on owning up to its previous titles, which didn't fare quite as well as their first game, Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. They claim to have learned from their mistakes and plan to make this game the best one they've ever done.
"Dirty Bomb must provide a balanced playing field and a fair contest, challenging players, against or alongside real people," says the post. "Players should only succeed by competing in battles where skill and tactics alone determine the winners, be it as an individual, group of friends, or team. Players should always understand why they won or lost, or by being part of a social community that shares knowledge, continually learn from other player’s skills, and achieve status and recognition for their own credible successes and contributions."
