Just a day after getting confirmation for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for Nintendo Switch, the fantasy RPG is now headed for VR devices. Sony made the announcement during its E3 showcase, and if you happened to miss the presentation, you can watch it right here on Gameranx.
Skyrim VR was shown off by Bethesda Softworks in a brand new trailer, which highlights the world of Tamriel from a more intense first person perspective. It promises a “true full-length open-world game” for virtual reality that manages an “unparalleled sense of scale, depth and immersion”. Skyrim VR offers the full traditional game, plus official add-ons Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. Players take on the role of prophesised hero Dragonborn and are dunked into a world of battling dragons, exploring rugged mountainsides and beyond.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will launch on PlayStation VR this November. Interested players can pre-order the game right now from the official website.
