Could former Sony mascot Crash Bandicoot be making an appearance in SuperBot's mascot fighter PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale? If a recent tweet conversation by the official Activision Support Twitter account is to be read between-the-lines, why, yes he could!
The conversation, which has since been removed, has a user tweet that he hopes Crash Bandicoot might make it into the title. Lucky for us, someone over at NeoGAF managed to capture it all before it was taken down.
It's also worth nothing that PAX Prime will start this coming weekend and wouldn't you know it? Crash Bandicoot's anniversary will be coinciding the same day as PAX starts. So there's a very good chance that Sony might announce his inclusion in the game by then.
For those too young to remember, Crash Bandicoot was the mascot for the PlayStation brand in the PS1 era and was developed by Naughty Dog. After not reaching an agreement with Universal, Crash, Spyro and a few other IPs were bought out by Activision and has since appeared on other platforms.
While this hasn't been confirmed in anyway, the fact that Activision's official Twitter took the trouble of deleting the entire conversation might mean something's up but was prematurely hinted at.
Do you even want Crash in PS All-Stars or has his time come and gone?
