While we've yet to see any gameplay videos of Black Ops II's multiplayer, EA has already shown off two gameplay trailers for Warfighter. However, if you prefer to watch footage of the multiplayer without any of that fancy editing, we have two clips of leaked multiplayer gameplay from Warfighter's on-going Alpha trial.
What's more, the leaked footage reveals a few interesting things about Danger Close's upcoming military shooter.
In this YouTube clip by user PlayStationgang101, we get confirmation that the game will feature a controllable chopper as one of the game's Support Actions. Support Actions are, of course, the game's version of killstreaks but with defensive variants too. it's also worth mentioning that instead of just "collecting" kills, points can be earned by capturing bases, avenging your teammates, and so on.
The chopper gunner footage starts at about the 2:15 mark of the video.
If that clip wasn't enough, YouTube user MoH-WF Alpha also shares some leaked footage and this time, we get to see the Spec Ops' class "Spec Ops vision" which, in reality, is just a fancier term for "X-Ray Vision." Now, I don't know about you, but from what I've seen from the video, this ability really looks like it's overpowered. Mind you, it's also an "ability" and not a Support Action, so pointstreaks aren't even needed.
The clip also shows off the multitude of weapons available in the Alpha trial.
Of course, those two things aren't the only things littering the gameplay leaks. We get to see how the melee attack works, the different Support Actions and even how the different classes vary from one another.
So, are you liking what you've seen so far? Keep in mind that this is Alpha footage and should not be representative of the game's final version. If I were you, I'd watch it now before EA pulls the plug.
Medal of Honor Warfighter is set for release on October 23 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
