Bethesda has revealed that it will announce the PC system specifications for its upcoming RPG, Fallout 4, a month ahead of its release. The game is slated for release this November across all current-gen platforms.
Bethesda's VP of marketing Pete Hines said that the PC-specific requirements will be announced in October, so gamers intending to play Fallout 4 on the platform will have ample time to beef up their hardware to get the game to run on its highest settings, which are expected to make it look better or run at higher framerates than its console counterparts.
"We usually announce system specs a month or less before a game's launch," Hines said in response to a fan question on Twitter.
His comments were made in response to a question about how Fallout 4 would be in terms of disk space. The game is big, offering over 400 hours of content, so there's a good chance it'll take up as much space as The Witcher 3 and other comparable games.
Beyond that, Bethesda had little else to share about the game, including its story, which it is keeping under wraps for a variety of reasons.
Fallout 4 comes out on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 10.
