Goat Simulator came out earlier this year on April 1. The game began as a simple tech demo for PC gamers, but after a huge amount of demand, was turned into a game with points and achievements. The game is absolutely insane in the best of ways and we're always excited to hear about what's next for Goat Simulator.
It's been six months since Goat Simulator saw an update or patch. The game probably doesn't require a lot of maintenance, as any glitches are looked at as hilarious little nuances of the game. It's kind of funny how Goat Simulator gets a pass in this area, even if it is only for its humor. Does this make Goat Simulator the comedian of video games?
At any rate, Goat Simulator recently got a trailer detailing its next patch. The update, which comes in the form of Patch 1.2, looks to bring medieval times to Goat SImulator. This patch is jokingly named Goat MMO Simulator, and reminds us of Skyrim quite a bit. While all MMOs are going to have some aspects that are similar, it's still a bit funny.
The trailer shows a goat running through an MMO world, dispatching enemies left and right. While there aren't any actual players, as you'd expect in an MMO, it still looks like there is a ton to do in game. The same fun, whacky feeling that you've come to expect from Goat Simulator is certainly present, if nothing else.
Goat MMO Simulator will be released on November 20, 2014.
