If you didn’t make it out to GDC (Game Developer Conference) this year and you love CD Projekt RED’s latest title The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt then you might want to check out this panel talking about the game’s strategy towards creating Beauclair in the Blood and Wine expansion.
Beauclair was the new city CD Projekt had to build for the game’s expansion. Not only was it a difficult task to do, due to its differences from the main game regions like Novigrad and Skellige but also because they needed to create a city worth exploring for the player.
The panel is about 55 minutes long giving players a good insight on how such a masterful development team works and their thought process. Check out the panel in full down below:

If you haven’t tried The Witcher: Wild Hunt yet, I don’t know what you’re waiting for. The game won Game of the Year back in 2015 and has been an example game for other developers to mimic. However, if you need some more convincing, perhaps you can check out our Before You Buy video on the game right here.
