Arcade cabinets aren’t particularly expensive, especially if you know where to get them. But with that said, most of them consist of nothing more than retro games—which can be a very good thing if all you’re interested in playing is Pac Man—but they’re particularly hard to come by and have to be custom built if you want to play anything from the current generation of games.
If you’ve the money to spend, the folks at Pinel & PInel have created what they’re calling the Arcade PS Trunk which comes equipped with a PlayStation 3, a 55” Sony TV, a 1,800-watt sound system, and two Formula 1 racing seats with Thrustmaster steering wheels hooked up. You can also play with four wireless PS3 Dual Shock controllers, arcade fighting sticks, and a variety of Move controllers. Best of all, it all comes equipped with 3D glasses which work simultaneously on the TV.
The price? $90,000 dollars. Hope you’ve got the scratch to afford it.
