BROFORCE is described as a "ridiculously violent platform game" that builds upon the buddy action movie concept of the 80s and 90s. If you've ever seen films like the A-Team, Die Hard, or Lethal Weapon, you'll know what you're getting yourself into with BROFORCE.
As an action platformer, you'll kick ass, fight terrorists and blow shit up in a highly violent and silly fashion. While games like Metal Slug and Contra had players in the roles of similar characters, players spent most of their time dodging bullets, as those games were designed to drain your pockets of quarters in the arcade.
Not much of that happens in BROFORCE, with most of the emphasis being on killing stuff instead.
One of the developers of BROFORCE, Evan Greenwood, has put up a video about the game, showcasing its gameplay and to announce the release of the game's prototype, which is currently available for download on the developer's website.
The game is currently on Steam Greenlight, so you'll want to give it a thumbs up.
