If you can't wait to play Arkane Studios' upcoming first-person action game Dishonored, then Bethesda might have the next best thing. The publisher has just released an "interactive" trailer for the game.
Yes, it has the word "interactive" attached to it, so that means you will get to interact with it in some way. While it's not the same as controlling the character with a game pad, at least you can direct Corvo around to do what you want. Be warned, though. There are some minor spoilers in it depending on the choices you make.
To get the best effect, I suggest watching it in full screen and have a spare Xbox 360 or PS3 controller handy for when the action bits are shown…just for the sake of holding one, of course.
Once you're done "playing" this and you're still left wanting, your next best move is just to sit tight, relax and wait for October 9. It's either that or keep on playing the trailer and exhaust all the possible outcomes. I didn't do that, since, y'know, I didn't want to spoil the game for me that much.
Can Dishonored carry the momentum it had at E3, Gamescom and PAX? We'll know the answer to that next week.
