Strafe Release Date Gets Pushed Back as New One is Announced

March 14, 2017 by Jordan Biazzo

Fans will have to wait just a little while longer!

As the highly anticipated title Strafe was set to release at the end of the month of March, it seems that the game has received a new release date, which is set for a May 9 release.

Strafe is the upcoming 90s-style rogue-like that many retro fans have been waiting for. However, they will have to wait just a little while longer to actually get their hands on the game.

Developer Pixel Titans took to the PlayStation Blog to announced the new release date, as well as give a little backstory of what the game is to newbies.

Strafe is a roguelike first-person shooter that’s pushing the limits of computer-generated photorealism and hardcore sci-fi action into unimaginable territory.

You play as a Scrapper on an impossibly dangerous mission at the edge of the galaxy. You only have one life to navigate all the nightmarish terrains of Strafe. When you die, nothing will ever be the same again.

The team at Pixel Titans is psyched and/or hyped to bring our game to PS4. We’re super thankful to the PlayStation team that made it happen. The project has been years of pixilated blood, real sweat, and delicious tears, and we’re beside ourselves with excitement to finally bring it to the PlayStation community.

Strafe is now set to release for the PS4 and PC on May 9.
