The Xbox Wire has provided our first look into the soundtrack in the upcoming RTS Halo title — Halo Wars 2. Like every Halo title to date, each comes packed with an enriched soundtrack to immerse players into the deep story and hectic combats; and that is no different in Halo Wars 2.
As the game is only a week away from releasing, gamers get a sense of the direction of the game with the official sneak peak of the soundtrack. Check out some of them down below:
Composed by Gordy Haab and Finishing Move (comprised of Brian Lee White and Brian Trifon), with guidance from Halo Wars 2 Audio Director Paul Lipson, the soundtrack aims to set a new benchmark for the Halo universe and for RTS experiences across all platforms.
The Halo Wars 2 Original Game Soundtrack is currently available for pre-order and will be available at your favorite local retail stores on Friday, Feb. 17 and available online Tuesday, Feb. 21 for $17.99.
Users who opt for the collector’s edition will be able to get their hands on the game as early as of this Friday, February 17. Halo Wars 2 also becomes another title to join the Play Anywhere program for Xbox, which means players will be able to pick up where they left off on another Xbox One or Windows 10 PC, bringing all your saves, game add-ons, and achievements with you.
Halo Wars 2 is set to release for Xbox One and PC on February 21.
