Sony has announced that the elusive release date of Gran Turismo 5, scheduled to release November 2, has been delayed even further, but says that the game is expected to release this holiday season. Announced in 2006, GT5 has been delayed endlessly and this new development might enrage fans of the series even further.
Polyphony Digital has released the following statement,
We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches.
