If you are a console gamer, envious of how the PC is getting all the gritty Dark Souls: Prepare to Die special edition features, Namco Bandai is here to alleviate your woes. The publisher has set a release date of October 26 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 console update of the intense title.
Just when you think you've managed to claw your way out of the Dark Souls hole, another variable is there to drag you back in. If destroying the game once through wasn't enough, this expansion is ready to toss you into the fight once more. Fear not, you'll be pulling out your hair again in no time.
In the Prepare to Die version of the From Software game, players will encounter over 10 hours of extra content including new enemies, bosses, equipment, and more ever-important NPC cannon fodder. The great divide between the PC version, released August 24th, and the console version, still about two months away, will definitely be frustrating to those die-hard fans looking to create a more harrowing experience for themselves.
