The complete edition of indie survival rogue-like The Flame in the Flood will make its debut on the PlayStation 4 console this January 17, bringing director’s commentary, new system avatars and gameplay tweaks for the most comprehensive gameplay experience to date.
Developed by The Molasses Flood, The Flame in the Flood originally launched for PC and Xbox One last year following a successful kickstarter in late 2014. The Molasses Flood comprises a team of AAA veterans from studios like Bungie and Harmonix, and this is their first foray into the independent game development scene. President Forrest and Lead Designer Dowling believes the team’s collaboration with publisher Curve Digital was of tremendous importance regarding the port:
“Curve Digital has been monumental in bringing The Flame in the Flood to PlayStation 4 and we believe the Complete Edition is a game every PlayStation fan will want…Not only will players get to experience the award-winning gameplay, art and story of the original, but the additional content and gameplay tweaks very much make this the definitive version.”
The game will also be accompanied by a bonus dynamic theme for players to enjoy.
