The day has finally come for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II to pop up on Steam. A very expository announcement was made on the platform’s own news blog, informing us that the Obsidian-developed sequel is now taking its place next to its BioWare-developed predecessor, which released on Steam back in May.
Like its predecessor, KotOR II is also going for $10.00 US, but is only available on PC (KotOR is available on both PC and Mac.) Minimum requirements for the 2005 game are pretty low in retrospect, however, asking for a Pentium 3 1GHz processor (alternatively, an AMD Athlon 1GHz) and no less than 256MB of RAM.
This is a good chance for those who haven’t played the game to give it a whirl. And those who already have can take the opportunity to put something a little bit nostalgic in their Steam Library.
