The release of Battlefield 1 is almost upon us, and the developers at DICE are kicking up their promotional campaign by a notch with the announcement that anyone who plays Battlefield 4 or Hardline will be able to unlock some free content for the upcoming game.
In prior promotions leading up to BF1’s release, both Battlefield 4 and Hardline were put on discount, to warm people up for the release of the new game.
DICE today announced that from now until October 17, if you log onto Battlefield 4 or Hardline and score 100 kills with the M1911 pistol in either game, you will unlock the Incinerator skin for the M1911 in Battlefield 1.
In addition, you will also unlock the Road to Battlefield Dog Tag for use in the game. The mission is live now.
Battlefield 1 comes out on October 21 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
