As well as releasing on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles and PC, SEGA have announced that they're bringing Dreamcast cult classic Jet Set Radio to the PlayStation Vita as well. The handheld version of the game will even boast touchscreen controls for spraying grafitti and, of course, its own set of trophys as well.
I think it's fantastic that so many developers are going out of their way to push content for the Vita. We knew that it would happen, ever since Kojima said how easy it was porting parts of Metal Gear Solid 4 to the console, but now we're seeing it in action. And, while I highly doubt it, there's always the option for SEGA to offer both the PS3 and Vita versions of the game for a single price, or a discount/reward if you buy both.
The release date is still set for "Summer 2012," but expect more details after E3 (at which Jet Set Radio HD is playable). It bodes well for any future Dreamcast HD releases, and the thought of playing Shenmue on my Vita is mind-blowing.
