Today. during Bungie’s livestream event from Gamescom, they released a new “ViDoc” for Destiny’s upcoming Rise of Iron expansion.

This video is titled “Forged in Fire” and shows off everything featured in the update, which includes brand new story content, the next raid, additional Crucible maps, and much more.

One of the most anticipated new additions to Destiny with Rise of Iron is private matches available for the Crucible. Players can set up their own matches and can customize features like duration, time of day, and score limit. Players are also able to enable to or disable their Light level for these private matches.

The new Raid, Wrath of the Machine, shows players making their way through the tight confines of The Wall before reaching the open terrain on top. The raid will go live on September 23rd, three days after the expansion itself launches. A new strike is also showcased, called the Wretched Eye.

Rise of Iron also includes the newest mode, Supremacy, for Crucible. Private matches are coming to all Destiny players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but Supremacy is only available for those who own Rise of Iron.

Rise of Iron launches September 20th for PS4 and Xbox One. It is Destiny’s fourth expansion. Rise of Iron, however, will not be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

However, players who began on last-gen systems and now own a current gen machine can upgrade to Destiny: The Collection for $40 but only for a limited time. You get the base game, all Destiny content, (including Rise of Iron) and a character boost.
