In a report about to what to expect from this year's E3 conference, VG247's Patrick Garret says "you should be expecting a show-stopping reveal" from Ubisoft. "There's a big headline here."
Now, there's a lot of info in that article, but it comes from someone who I can tell you more than likely knows what their talking about.
The release I'm noting this particular piece is because of the recent leaks of Beyond Good & Evil 2 assets.
if console manufacturers don't want to discuss the next generation, fine; they don't have to. But there's no reason third-party publishers can't say, "Hey, here's what we have coming, whatever the systems are."
Ubisoft has long played coy about whether or not the game even exists despite the fact it was they who chose to unveil it to begin with. For the past few years, creator Michel Ancel has insisted the team is small, but the game is happening and better hardware is needed.
I think the time is right. I think this "show-stopping reveal" is Beyond Good & Evil 2.
