Lately, it seems that PC gamers are having a tough time finding a Batman title to launch perfectly for their systems. Recently, Telltale Games launched their Batman video game which would be their own unique take on the cape crusader, but if you’re planning on picking the game up on PC, you might want to hold off for now.
Telltale Games have been a pretty stellar company when it comes to adapting beloved franchises into an episodic video game series. In the past, the development studio was successful in delivering video games from IPs such as The Walking Dead, Borderlands, Minecraft, and Game of Thrones.
Now as their latest title launches, Batman The Telltale Series, developers are likely scrambling to release a patch for their PC gamer fanbase. A large number of complaints can be found on the Steam page for the game.
These reports range from a number of issues such as cursors being stuck, random lags, crashes, audio sync, to even button mapping for controllers behind mislabeled, leaving most of the gameplay mechanics unusable.
Unfortunately, Telltale Games has yet to make an official announcement about the poor PC performance for the video game. Instead, there is only a note left on the game description stating the following.
“If you are experiencing performance issues, you may need to update the graphics card drivers to the latest available. If you are using a laptop, please use your dedicated graphics and not intel integrated graphics.”
We hope to see a patch release sooner than later or some official statement that suggests the developers are aware of the problem and are working on a stable fix soon.
