DOOM certainly made one hell of an entrance when it came out a few months ago. Now Bethesda is prepping new updates and DLC for the game’s multiplayer mode. Check it out in their new video.
DOOM has a free update coming tomorrow. This includes two multiplayer game modes: Exodus is a capture the flag style match with the twist of bases and flags constantly on the move, as well as Sector – an objective based capture and hold mode where players take control of zones and fend off enemies in order to rack up points. On top of all that, the update will add a ton of new modules and customization options for DOOM‘s SnapMap feature.
But that wasn’t all they had to show in the video. The team also made mention of the Unto the Evil DLC, which is the first premium content for the game since it released. Here’s what Unto the Evil unleashes: three new multiplayer maps, the ability to control a Harvester demon, a new EMG pistol weapon, Kinetic Mines, new hack modules, and an assortment of new ways to customize your DOOM player character.
DOOM‘s free update on July 29th is followed up with Unto the Evil coming out on August 5th. It’ll be available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. To keep in the loop about the ever-changing DOOM updates, check out their Twitter and Facebook.
