There was a degree of worry when Metal Gear Rising changed direction (and developer) that it would be little more than a hack and slash game, offering nothing but endless enemies and a sharp sword. That would be fun any everything, but it's hardly "Metal Gear," and I like to think that the trailers being released prove that there's going to be a lot more to it than just hitting things as accurately as you can.
Just to confirm that, the above teaser trailer was released by Konami yesterday and proves to be both topical and interesting in regards to the series. And if you've been thus far unimpressed by references to Vamp and Solidus, perhaps mention of the Sons of LIberty will be enough to make you sit up and take notice.
There have been a lot of teaser trailers lately which can only mean there's going to be a big reveal soon enough, probably at e3. At the very least, I want a release date.
