The creators at Dayjob Studio have announced a new comic book series launch, Hotline Miami: Wildlife. This eight issue comic book series will detail an original story set in the same universe as the popular game series, Hotline Miami, and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number which were created by Dennaton Games. The first issue is available for purchase now but the other seven issues will be released monthly and can be downloaded for $1.99 each in a PDF or CBR format via Humble Widget.
This new spin-off story, though not actually canon within the subset of the universe, has been given the go-ahead by the developers at Dennaton. It features a completely new character, named Chris, who struggles to deal with an impending war and a mysterious group of “pseudo-patriots” dubbed the 50 Blessings. New locations will be shown in this narrative form and will immerse the reader further in the Hotline Miami universe.
Each issue will be 30 or more pages long and is written by Federico Chemello and Maurizio Furini with art by Alberto Massaggia, Ludovica Ceregatti, Andrea Dotta and Andrea Errico. As an added bonus, if fans pre-purchase the entire series they can save 25% off the cover price.
