Publisher Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer for science-fiction, action role-playing game The Surge.
Set on Earth in the dystopian future, The Surge places players in an environment where citizens have to work to survive in overpopulated cities. Citizens have been forced to move into the suburbs for work, “aided by exoskeletons to improve their efficiency.”
The new trailer shows The Surge‘s “reluctant hero” in the fight for the first time. It showcases the game’s exo-suit modules, as well as the game’s “heavy emphasis” on environmental storytelling and “duel-style combat.”
The Surge is expected to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2017.
