We have now learned of another GTA 6 marketing deal at Miami-Dade that might not push through – and it’s a heartbreaker if it is cancelled.

The deal is to rebrand Miami beach to Vice Beach, with five separate installations:
- A Vice Beach sign in Lummus Park
- Vice Beach branding on Muscle Beach’s workout equipment
- A VI branded lifeguard tower
- A 10 foot VI sculpture
- The W Hotel being rebranded to the Y Hotel
Rockstar has to pay $ 300,000 total to the city, and $ 4 million to Boucher Brothers, the company running business in Miami beach. Rockstar is also making a $ 640,000 custom vehicle for promotions that they will auction or give to the city when marketing is done.
The document that outlined this deal also reveals no permits have been approved as of October 15. As we reported last week, city politics has now gotten in the way of this deal getting approved.
Rockstar has gone ahead with GTA 6 marketing around Miami-Dade, all with private establishments instead of the city. If they don’t get approval by November 1, these grand Vice Beach plans might just be cancelled.
