XBOX has officially denied yesterday’s rumor about Game Pass.

They shared this statement to Paul Tassi:
We regularly test different Game Pass offerings and look at what works best for players in different markets.
We don’t have any changes to announce today or plans that have been finalized.
There are no changes to previously announced games coming to Game Pass Ultimate on day one.
Yesterday’s rumors included claims that they would remove Day One games, online multiplayer, and cloud gaming. XBOX’s statement is carefully phrased to reassure current subscribers that they wouldn’t lose Xbox’s games still on the way, particularly Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, and Clockwork Revolution.
As we also pointed out yesterday, Game Pass subscribers have been through a turbulent five years, as Xbox was constantly revising the tiers and features in Phil Spencer’s last years as Xbox head.
While Asha Sharma has said nothing is off the table, we think she has correctly seen that subscribers are weary of more changes and she won’t try anything unless she’s sure it’s what they would want.
