One actor has officially confirmed he will be in GTA 6.
As shared on YouTube by AP, Stephen Root said this in a red carpet interview:
Yeah, you’re going to see me in there.
Um, it’s coming out November 19th is is the latest that I know of. But, uh, I think from the first roll out of GTA that they were doing maybe almost a year ago, they had my character in there and there were too many people who knew me from King of the Hill and my voice.
So, I think uh that that secret kind of got divulged then.
The prevailing fan theory is that Root is playing Brian Heder, the retired smuggler who’s employed Jason. As for the King of the Hill connection, Stephen happened to have played that show’s worst boss. We think you’ll agree that the auditory resemblance is not a coincidence.
Fans have also been waiting for the actress rumored to be playing Lucia to finally confirm and talk about her role, but she hasn’t started quite yet.
