Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 6 is running at a framerate of 30 FPS.

Rockstar Games development head Rob Nelson has confirmed to YouTuber Davy Jones and Portuguese gaming site Flow Games that the game currently only runs at this framerate.
If machine translation of Flow Games’ article is accurate, Rob also said that they aren’t sure if they can get the game running at 60 FPS in the future. He also couldn’t share other technical details, such as resolution, ray-tracing, and others.
But fans who watched GTA 6: An Extended Look, and also watched the leaks before that, could have already observed that the game runs at 30 FPS. This detail can be irksome for fans who clung onto Sony listing GTA 6 as being PS5 Pro Enhanced on PlayStation Store.
Is it just too early for Rockstar and Sony to reveal its PS5 Pro features? Or was Sony too hasty in adding the label to the game? PS5 and Xbox Series S owners may turn out to have saved money with this game in the end.
