CD Projekt RED has made another welcome announcement for The Witcher fans.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered is coming to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and debuting on the Switch 2 for the first time.
This new version will come with upgrades to visuals, QOL, and other features, but the biggest news is for fans who already own the game.
Gamers who already own the game on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S will get this as a free upgrade. On the other hand, if you own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for the Nintendo Switch, you will get to claim the Switch 2 version for free.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered also comes with the two existing expansions, Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine. You’ll also get them free if you are eligible for a free upgrade.
But, of course, this does not include Songs of the Past, which is releasing next year. It seems CD Projekt RED wants everyone to prepare for the expansion, with the remaster releasing this September 29, 2026.
