Days before GTA 6: An Extended Look is debuting, a rumor has started going around that’s turned out to be fake.
Outlets like GameRant and Insider ran a rumor from Reddit that the Extended Look would have three episodes. The source was supposed to be the Portuguese Netflix website, which ‘accidentally’ leaked that it had three episodes.
NurfPT made this response to this rumor, complete with screenshots of their own datamining and analysis:
This looks 99.99% fake. Netflix’s Episodes section should appear above “More Details” section, not below it as shown in the Reddit image.

Videotech chimed in, pointing out that there were clear red flags that this could have been faked.
Subsequently harryodini588 debunked a rumor claiming that the Extended Look was confirmed to be 20 minutes long.
Of course, no one is immune from making mistakes, including us. We do want to be careful in choosing what rumors to report, and also in calibrating how much credibility we should give them.
