Many are fairly expecting GTA 6 to “start out” like many previous games in the series. Specifically, you’ll start out on the “bottom of the totem pole” and then work your way up into the life that the main characters feel they deserve. It’s a simple arc, but it’s one that has worked well so far. For the upcoming title, we know the game will star Jason and Lucia, who come together to fight off the heat that comes upon them after a job goes wrong. While details on what that job is and how the game will truly start its story mode are still unknown, many are wondering about how much money the duo will have when the game really starts.
On Reddit, one person asked:
“How much money do you think we’ll start off with in storymode? Also, what do you think will be the first kinds of missions to earn us our first bucks? And will Jason & Lucia have a shared bank account or not?”
Good questions, and ones that aren’t easy to answer right now, as story details are very light right now. Even the official stuff from Rockstar Games still has things that are rather vague about what Jason and Lucia will go through early on, outside of Lucia getting out of jail and Jason being a small-time drug runner. Other Redditors chimed in with their thoughts on the matter:
“I hope it’s more or less realistic for all situations, from the beginning to the endless endgame, and also I hope a full casino is there 100% functional by the way.”
Realism is a word that has been tossed around a lot with GTA 6, especially with its fans. The game looks hyper-realistic, but will the tasks follow suit? Some looked for answers in the game’s official trailers and art:
“I am guessing that for the first few hours Jason gets a decent bit of pay every time he does drug running work for Brian. It also sounds like Jason will be doing debt collecting for Brian in the form of ‘shakedowns’. While it looks like Lucia could be doing community service for a short while after getting released from prison. I think that they eventually meet some criminal connections after a short while & things escalate from there.”
That would line up with what we’ve seen so far, but again, we only know precious little. No matter how it starts, the end result will be that Jason & Lucia will start “rolling in it” sooner or later.
