Doctor Who has a pretty gigantic following. Maybe the show has a decent storyline and cool characters, or maybe most people just really think that accent is hilarious. One way or the other, the series has garnered enough fans to have a game made, and Doctor Who: Worlds in Time is just waiting to be played in your browser right now.
The game follows the free-to-play model, and has players helping the Doctor solve puzzles in order to best villains like Daleks, Cybermen, and a bunch of other types of things I've never heard of. You can head over and start playing the game here.
Robert Nashak, Executive VP of Digital Entertainment for the BBC had a few things to saw about the game:
"From introducing beloved characters and progressive storylines to presenting additional guild play, our goal is to become the largest Doctor Who community ever assembled, while also being an enjoyable experience for all players."
As usual with free-to-play, players will have the option of spening real cash to earn Chronons that will help you with mission progress, or allow you to do some character customization and gadget building. If you happen to check the game out, let us know what you think in the comments!
